STATEMENT
“The goal in my artwork is some surprise, some mystery, some humor
and sometimes a comment about life from my perspective.”
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Ann Krone received a B.A. in Art Education from Westmar College, LeMars,
Iowa, an M.A. in drawing from Ft. Hays State University and an M.F.A.
in printmaking from Wichita State University.
Ann has provided instruction in art for Ft. Hays Kansas State University,
Wichita State University, and Cloud County Community College. She is currently
an art professor at Friends University, Wichita, Kansas.
Ann retired from public education where she was an art teacher and administrator
for over 30 years. She is a member of Gallery XII in Wichita, Kansas and
is an active artist in the media of watercolor, graphite, collage,
digital painting, and mixed media.
